Puruit Physio | Quality care | Quality Life

Designe with your health in mind

At Pursuit Physiotherapy, we give our clients the tools necessary to optimize function and return to their best life as efficiently as possible. We assist those who want a point in the right direction as well as those who need intensive regular treatment. We want to empower you to take control over your health.

You may not have to live with those annoying headaches, that old running injury, or that sore elbow when you’re at your computer. Come and see us to improve your current situation and pursue your goals with improved function.

Physiotherapists at Pursuit Physiotherapy provide various forms of
individualized treatment to prevent and manage physical impairments and pain. Treatment may consist of education, manual (hands-on) muscle or joint work, intramuscular stimulation (dry needling), postural correction, exercise prescription, and modalities. Physiotherapy is a government regulated profession requiring university education to attain a bachelor’s or master’s degree, followed by post graduate courses in more specific areas of interest. You do not need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist unless required by your insurer, as in a motor vehicle accident claim.

Generally you will see the same therapist each time you attend for treatment in order to maintain consistency of care. Do not be surprised though if we ask for another member of our team to assess you as we will do this if we feel another member has a skill set that will better serve you for your specific problem.

Some specific conditions we treat are:

Orthopedic Injuries

Sports Rehabilitation

Motor Vehicle Accident Recovery

Manual Therapy

Chronic Pain

Women’s Health

Postural Improvement

Massage Therapy

Acupuncture

Vestibular Therapy

Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS)
